The game is so good that I would honestly just pay for a full $20 release.Ī refreshing monster-collecting and battling RPG adventure. The game is so good that you’ll forget they are there for most of your play time, but when you notice it, it’ll get under your skin. These buttons take a lot of space and are only there to make sure you’re aware there is a cash shop. Nothing in there is needed, so you can ignore it, but it is annoying because you will have two big buttons on the top right hand side the whole time you’re playing. There are only a handful of faults that I can find, and most of that has to do with the cash shop in a paid game. The story is actually pretty nice and engaging as well. The humor is spot on, they have amazing references to other pop culture things, and the game is very self aware it’s a game. If you’re looking for something to remind you of the good ol Pokémon days, or even just a good game for younger kids that haven’t jumped into similar games yet, this is an amazing choice. It was actually something that pulled me in so much that I spent a couple nights where I only got about 3 hours of sleep before work.

I spent pretty much most of my free time playing this instead of actually gaming systems. Nexomon, while having a lot of similarities to Pokémon, feels like something unique. One of my fondest memories was spending hundreds of hours playing the original Pokémon games.

And also that you can’t change when you’re not first attack.

So you have to get used to takin a bit of damage before you attack. 1 problem (which I’m putting at the bottom as it’s really opinion based) is the fact that you’re used to starting the attacks near the start of the game and as you progress, they attack first. Now I know things like this are that cheap, I can find peace on apples pricing. I have genuinely never spent any money on the App Store except for this. The 99p bit is definitely money well spent. My wife is now freaking out cos I sit in bed for at least 3 hours playing. If you loved Pokemon as a child, or just like games like this, RECOMMENDED. The new arena mode is so cool because you can play against other people and learning new skills. It’s hard to compare the two but it’s true! Having a game like this, with such good graphics and an amazing storyline is a dream. I was extremely addicted to things like Pokemon and the whole series.
